Odds & Tips for Coolmore Stud Stakes 2025

The Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) for three-year-olds shapes as one of the most anticipated races of the Flemington carnival, and it’s stacked with class from top to bottom.

The Chris Waller-trained Beiwacht ($4.50) is towards the top of the market and rightfully so after a record-breaking 4 length victory in the Group 1 Golden Rose (1400m). Freshened since, he’s had the perfect build-up and his trainer has made it clear — there’ll be no excuses. His recent Flemington jumpout was sharp, cruising past rivals without being asked for an effort.

Rival colt Beadman ($5.00) looks the clear danger after two terrific runs this prep, including an unlucky effort in the Roman Consul, while Tentyris ($3.50) continues to go very well having won from a tough spot when last out.

For those hunting value, Skyglider ($21.00) is unbeaten and may surprise a few of these at odds.  The PickaBookie.com.au selection is Beiwacht to confirm his class and stamp himself as the season’s standout three-year-old sprinter.
